Pure and naive, Frog sees the world with his eyes open wide. Everything around him surprises him, fills him with amazement and rises his curiosity. Toghether with his animal friends he face the big questions brought to them by their little everyday life dramas.
Frog, directed by the italian puppet maker Fabrizio Montecchi, is part of the Pop up Puppets international festival at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern, August 18-21 2022.
Frog has many friends. Duck, a sweet and lovely playmate; Pig, peaceful and fond of the house and good cooking; Hare, an intellectual who always finds an answer to everything and Rat, an adventurer as bold as generous. Frog and his friends always come with a positive solution for all the existential dilemmas.
The performance is based on books by the dutch writer Max Velthuijs, published by Andersen Press, London.
