Craft your own Nenukki-puppet!

"Nenukki", a five-finger-and-eyes puppet, is a fun type of puppet featured in the show "Ariadne". In this Nenukki workshop, participants create their own Nenukki puppets to have as a self-portrait, souvenir, or companion on life's adventures.

The workshop is led by Eve Mäkitalo, a newly minted puppetry artist and loyal assistant to the show's creator Merja Pöyhönen, as well as Sara Bohman, a puppet maker at Marionetteatern.

"Nenukki" is a type of theater puppet created by the artist and puppeteer Merja Pöyhönen in the work on the show Ariadne, which is performed at Marionetteatern's international puppet theater festival Pop Up Puppets.

Free admission, pick up your free ticket at the ticket counter on the entrance level in Kulturhuset. Every 20 minutes, the puppet makers give a new introduction. The workshop is open between 14:00 and 16:00.

This workshop is available in Swedish, Finnish, and English.
